About Maria Dad Interiors

Hi, I'm Maria - founder of Maria Dad Interiors.

My journey into interior design started in my childhood home. From a young age I have always enjoyed helping my dad and brothers’ decorate our home, from painting and wallpapering to selecting decor and furniture.

The beauty of transforming an ordinary room into an inviting space, filled with character really stuck by me. I spent just under a decade in the IT industry, where I thrived on problem-solving and finding innovative solutions for complex challenges. While I loved the precision of tech, I found myself constantly drawn to the world of design.

During lockdown it inspired me to transform my home into a beautiful space. 

Many of my family and friends who visited my newly designed home encouraged me to pursue Interior Design as a career. I decided to take the plunge and go back to university to study Interior Design. Since qualifying in Interior Design at Camilo Jose Cela University, I have been able to obtain my industry experience to carry out design services. 

Starting my own interior design business has felt like a dream come true! A chance to bring my lifelong passion to life and help others create spaces that feel like home.
